Backstory: Suzette Bernard is the younger twin by approximately seven and a half minutes. She and her sister, though, have never been the type to consider one "younger" than the other, they are twins after all. Their birthday is exactly the same. The Bernard twins were born in France, in a little countryside town. They grew up there, as any normal muggle child would, until strange things began to happen around them. Unexplainable happenings, things that sadly ended up leaving the two girls as outcasts in their small hometown.
From the age of eight until they turned eleven they had made habit of moving every year or so. They had settled into a small town just north of the Pyrenees mountains when the girls turned eleven and an answer to all their questions came. The girls had been found and accepted into Beauxbaton's Academy of Magic! They were witches. Relieved to see there was nothing wrong with their girls, Robert and Angeline Bernard were glad to send the twins to the school.
They attended the school for two years until their father was laid off at work and they relocated to London so he could find work. Fairly quickly they received letters from Hogwarts, asking them to attend, which they accepted. Before their third year (first at Hogwarts), they went up early to be sorted apart from new first years, both being placed in Ravenclaw.
