Bio: Taken as a filly by workers at the Rainbow Factory, she was kept for years, imprisoned, as they slowly drained her color from her. She was able to escape one day by pure chance, when a slacking worker left a door open. She was able to get out there, and to the edge of the cloud the Rainbow Factory rested on. Flare Berry had never learned to fly as a filly, so she took a leap of faith... and plummeted... She landed in a tree, falling through the branches to the ground, luckily not breaking anything. She was found in the forest by Fluttershy, who she was utterly terrified of. After "escaping" Fluttershy she found her way into Ponyville. She was nervous and didn't speak to hardly anypony, and steered completely clear of any pegasi. She doesn't have a cutie mark, never having found it at the Rainbow Factory. She is especially afraid of Rainbow Dash, because of her rainbow mane. She hates rainbows.

She is afraid of/doesn't trust pegasi, because the only pegasi she ever saw worked at the Rainbow Factory.
