Dreamer Headcanon

Mind dreamers let off sort of 'waves' when they do things. Waves that can be sensed by other Dreamer, depending on their skill level and ability to handle their powers.

Like if a mind Dreamer is doing/going to do something good: depending on how good or nice a thing it is, the wave will be stronger or weaker. And a skilled or strong day Dreamer might be able to sense it, even if they don't see it happening.

Same way if they're going to do something bad/mean/michevious: a night Dreamer would be able to sense the bad things.

And it goes both way with mind dreamers, though they have to be particularly skilled with their powers to be able to sense things, and focused.


My characters, for example.
Rosa is sort of flighty and silly, not focusing too much on Dreamer powers, so she can't sense things unless the wave is very strong/powerful
Miles is pretty strong with his powers (being able to manipulate them to his will takes a lot of focus and skill) so he can sense things easily, good more so than bad
Finley is average in her abilities, so she can sense medium to very strong waves easily, but not much when they get weaker
And Benjamin is a very strong night Dreamer, though  he doesn't show it often, and can sense the weakest of waves even from a great distance
