The tiny Ravenclaw first year had been hurrying back to Ravenclaw tower. Not paying attention to where she was going, she turned a corner and ran straight into someone. Stumbling backwards she barely managed from tipping over onto the ground as she looked up at an older Slytherin- who didn't look too happy about the disturbance.
"I'm sorry..." The little girl squeaked, but his demeanor didn't change as he shoved her back. "Wat Ch where's you're going scrawny." He snarled as she whimpered.

Another recognizable Slytherin roamed the halls as he made his was to another class. It wasn't anything big- just needing to ask a question about an assignment that was due next week. Sly whistled softly until he turned the corner, noticing across the hall was another Slytherin pushing down a small girl. Maybe Ravenclaw? It didn't matter much to him, the took a stride as he approached the fellow snake,"So exactly what's going on here..",he hissed, appearing much larger than the two now that he was face to face with them.

She'd been shoved a few more times as she continued to try and apologize, explaining where she had been going. She didn't mean to run into him, really! She was on the verge of tears, wiping at her eyes with her the back of her hands. She looked through watery eyes at the giant Slytherin as he walked over. "I-" but she was interrupted.
"This little brat ran into me. What's it to you?" The bully asked.

Sly kept his gaze fix on the girl, his vivid blue eyes meeting her pale ones. He responded without looking," 'What's it to me' is that it isn't proper to treat a lady like that." He stood in front of her before squatting down and wiping a tear with his thumb,"Are you okay miss?" He paid no attention to the other Slytherin, just making sure the girl was alright before dealing with any trouble.

Her bottom lip quivering, Chrysanthemum nodded weakly. "I-I'm okay..." She said in a soft voice, wiping at her tears again. She was shaking a little, her eyes subconsciously flickering from Sly's face to the other student behind him, who looked even more peeved that his abuse of the young student had been interrupted.

A little smile spread across her visage as she was pat, glad someone was there to be nice. When spoken to the other Slytherin scoffed. "You can't tell me what to do." He spat up at Sly, seemingly unafraid of the gargantuan young male. Chrysanthemum stood hiding behind Sly, hugging herself and wishing she hadn't caused any trouble.

Sly glared down to him, shielding the little birdie from what was about to happen. Normally he'd never start a fight- but this might be the exception. "I could tell you because A; I'm an upperclassman. And B;" Within a split second the teen was sent flying to the ground, wonder exactly what happened. But to Sly, he was shaking his fist loose- that was a quicker punch than he would normally use,"; because I'm the man you're looking up to from the ground."

The baby bird's eyes widened at the sudden appearance of violence, staring as the other boy scrambled to a sitting position holding the back of his head where it had struck the floor. "Why you..." A swear was held back as he cringed- probably from more head pains. Not with much ease he managed to get to his feet and shuffle away, muttering under his breath.
When he was gone, Chrysanthemum spoke up in her quiet, gentle voice. "Thank you..." She offered, her little voice floating up softly to meet the far off ears of Sly the giant.

Sly glared at the teen until he seemed to scramble away, leaving the little girl alone for now at least. He turned back around and smiled once more, giving a low bow to her,"Your welcome Miss..." When he straightened himself back out he reached for her hand and gave a peck- much like a prince or true gentleman. "I'm Sylvester- but most seem to use Sly instead. You may call on me if he comes back and stirs up some more trouble,"

Well, didn't he certainly make her feel like such a little princess. She smiled, nodding s he gave his name. "I'm Chrysanthemum." She introduced herself, giving no nickname seeing as she had never cared for them much. She liked Chrysanthemum just the way it was and had always insisted upon being called just that."It's nice to meet you, Sly."

"Well it is a pleasure to meet you Miss Chrysanthemum," he said almost flawlessly. The giant always seemed to be persistant on using everyone's real names- although this time he was going to have to have a little practice getting use to such an interesting name. After letting go of her hand, he stood at her side,"Do you think you could make it back to the common rooms without more trouble, Miss?",he asked.

Chrysanthemum hummed for a second before nodding. "I'll be okay, it isn't far." She smiled. "Thank you, again." She said giving him a quick hug- as best she could seeing as how she was barely over half his heigh, before waving and scurrying off again.

Sly stood nearly silently except for a small chuckle as she hugged him. He patted her hair,"Your welcome Miss.." he said once she had let go. Now that that drama was over, it seemed like Sly would be back to his old mundane self again. At least he made a new friend.
Sly is a cutie I don't get how Marvie doesn't like him <3
